When asked what their favorite part of WordCamp was last year, most people said, “The after party!” Connect with old friends and new and rehash your WordCamp experience (or just shake your groove thang :-)) at a hip local venue. We are excited to announce that the after party for WordCamp Harare 2017 will be at The Venue in Avondale. We hope you’ll join us, along with your fellow WordPress comrades, for this evening to remember.
Party starts at 6:00 p.m.! Bring your badge to enter the party! You’ll pick it up on Saturday morning (at the registration desk) from 8:00–9:00, before the conference starts.
The after party will last until midnight, 12:00 a.m. We will have drinks for everyone, free of charge (until it lasts!). The idea of the after party is to hang out, meet new people and continue mingling. Don’t be late as drinks will be in limited quantity.
There will be a DJ and dance floor in “The Underground”. If you just want to sit and chat, there is a quieter area upstairs. They also have a spacious veranda.
The Venue has ample, private parking space with 24hour security. Access to The Venue is easy, right off King George Road.
